FAQ

Why Physical Therapy?

Research consistently links exercise, activity, and specific management of medical conditions to elevated health, reduced pain, and increased function.  Our patient education focuses on your autonomous manage of symptoms, giving you benefit from treatment long after our sessions have concluded. The active treatment approach we take puts you in control for lasting health benefits. Trek's therapists are Doctors of Physical Therapy.  This comes with an elevated understanding of anatomy, biomechanics, pathology, targeted interventions, and manual therapy.

Am I in-network?

Currently we accept these insurances:

If you do not see your insurance, please contact us, as some may not be listed.

What if I'm out-of-network?

Regardless of your healthcare coverage, we want to work with you.  Our cash-pay model make this possible and affordable.  Contact us for rates.

Do I need a referral for physical therapy?

Most insurances require a referral within 30 days of initial evaluation.  We can help you get this from your primary care provider.  Cash-pay does not need a referral.

What should I wear to my appointments?

Wear something you can comfortably move in.

Is it healthy for me to exercise?

The American College of Sports Medicine states “Exercise is Medicine.” Good health requires exercise and activity.  For most people, moderate exercise is appropriate.  At Trek Physical Therapy, we specialize in building a program that is tailored to your specific needs and is appropriate for your health, fitness, and goals.

What is our treatment style?

Our treatment philosophy is grounded in exercise-based interventions specifically targeted to each patient.  Trek's treatment model accounts for multiple factors in individuals' health, allowing us to approach care holistically.
